Andrea Maria Ottavini is a pianist and composer from Ascoli Piceno.
Starting his musical studies at the age of 6 he starts composing at the age of 13. During his piano studies he improves a lot his composing style taking influences from Chopin, Debussy, Scriabin and contemporary western and eastern composers. His production features preminently piano music.
In 2007 he wins the competition "Natale" - Città di Tremestieri Etneo (CT) with the composition for muted chorus "Reverie".
Important piano works are the "Dark Moonlight" (2012), "L'Addio" (2014), the Two Piano Sonatas (2014-2020) and the Parafrasi on themes from "Virginia" (2016).
He composed several soundtracks for short movies by Fabio Romanelli and Federico Sisti.
